A number of us (Rick's friends and peers) have been encouraging him to share some of his experience, knowledge and love of music, so we created this blog to give Rick the opportunity.

Recommended Systems On Demonstration:

First and foremost, our Vandersteen 7 loudspeakers have just seen the arrival and installation of a pair of Audio Research REF 150 power amps, one vertically bi-amping each channel, and the addition of the all new Audio Research REF 5SE preamp, which is producing the best sounding audio I've heard in my life! Transparency, sound staging and tonal balance have never, ever sounded better!

The Wilson Sashas powered by a pr. of Bryston 28B SST2s and an Audio Research LS27 is also a match made in heaven with spectacular control, dynamics and imaging capabilities, these wondrous speakers have achieved new heights of sonic realism in the store!

And, of special mention, The Vandersteen Treos ($5990 pr.), partnered with the Audio Research VSi60 Integrated amp brings a whole new level to tonal warmth and sound staging at the price.

These systems will all be on active display for our upcoming Music Matters open house on May 21st. Visit the events and mission tabs on our site for more information concerning this special evening of fun, music and great catering. You do not want to miss this exciting night featuring, live and in-person, Michael Fremer, Richard Vandersteen and Joe Harley!
